Exercise referral, is the perfect way for people with long-term health conditions to move more in order to improve their health and well being.
Anyone over the age of 19 can be referred, but I specialise in men and women over the age of forty. Typically, clients are required to be inactive however, I believe it is important to also support those wishing to return to exercise following an injury or illness.
As an exercise referral specialist, I am qualified to work with clients who have more complex conditions than can safely be catered for by a Personal Trainer. However, clients must be clinically stable, compliant with their medication and committed to making a long term lifestyle change.
How to access my services
I accept NHS referrals from primary care. Most people with long-term health conditions can be referred onto a GP Exercise Referral Scheme.
- Simply speak to your GP, nurse, physio or other health care practitioner
- If you are eligible, you can be referred to me, or have your health professional contact me.
I work with Private Clients that have self referred. If you have a long-term health condition and wish to work with a specialised fitness practitioner, you are able to access my services privately, outside of the NHS.
We all have our unique reasons for wanting to exercise more and get fitter. Whatever yours are, together we will get there and have fun on the way!
