About Ed

Coach & Mentor

Having run my own software business, and worked internationally in senior corporate roles prior to focusing full time on Endurance Coaching, I can very much relate to the everyday pressures and strains placed on athletes trying to juggle careers, life and sport. 

As your Coach I want to help you realise your ambitions and unlock your potential. I enjoy the challenge of working with athletes of all abilities; creating imaginative training programmes and find new ways to inspire you. I enjoy working with athletes  who want to be challenged, given the stimulus to adapt and the skills to become empowered whilst having fun and enjoying the sport they feel passionate about. 

My coaching philosophy is to train you holistically; recognising that your Event Specific Performance will be equally dependent upon Nutrition, Strength & Conditioning and Technique as much as it is upon fitness. In addition to my run specific qualifications from UK Athletic, I am also a Personal Trainer and have many other nutrition and sport related qualifications.

Supporter & Guide

From my first 10k race to crossing the finish line of my first full distance triathlon exactly one year later, I feel privileged to have enjoyed the self confidence and pride that comes from achieving more that you ever thought possible of yourself. Regardless of the scale of someones goal, coaching them through the planning, preparation, training and execution of their ambition is the simply the most satisfying ‘job’ I can imagine doing. 

2020, with COViD-19, has been effected everyones life profoundly. Within the world of sport many of the races that we had planned, were obviously cancelled and with that many goals have temporarily disappeared. But looking forward to 2021 and beyond I remain committed to my personal goals, and it would be my privilege to coach you towards yours.
